CPU practice is free. Ranked matchmaking and private human matches require an active recurring multiplayer membership after the free test ends. The price, billing interval, taxes, and renewal terms are shown before checkout. Monthly competitive seasons use ranked Quick Matches and private codes whose host explicitly chooses ranked play. Wins award 3 points, draws award 1 point, and CPU or casual-code matches do not affect season standings.
The same pair of players may complete up to three ranked code matches per UTC day. Casual code matches remain available after that limit. A random Quick Match encounter between the same players is separate from the code-match limit.
Country divisions use the country you select on your verified account. Do not enter false profile information, arrange fake outcomes, share accounts, or repeatedly farm another player. We may mark results provisional, remove manipulated results, or restrict ranked access.
Matchmaking, private rooms, and live results are best-effort. During launch and other low-traffic periods, Laptims may start a casual match with a Laptims-controlled automated rival after a short search when a compatible human is unavailable. Automated rivals use generated player names. Those matches never award season points or count as victories over human players.
Each multiplayer round ends automatically after 20 seconds. A ranked set becomes committed only after both players pass its first ready check. Leaving a committed ranked set is treated as a forfeit. Leaving before commitment, or leaving CPU or casual-code play, closes the match without a ranked forfeit. Matches may close without a ranked result when a connection fails or a rival never finishes.
There are no cash prizes, wagering, transferable value, or gambling mechanics. Match codes are temporary; share them only with people you want in the room.
